Welcome to First Grade! We, Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Parra, are delighted to be your child’s first grade teachers this school year. We are excited about the start of school and look forward to being part of your child’s life for this period of time. Ms. Aida, our Instructional Assistant (IA), will also be working closely with your child in the classroom, at lunch, and on the playground. Ms. Aida has been at SAS for 18 years and is a wonderful addition to our class. We are fortunate to have her supporting us.
We look forward to a wonderful year, creating a supportive learning community with all the children. We will see you all on Monday or Tuesday for our Hopes and Dreams Conference.
